Balmoral Colours Multi-Ply Oak Flooring - 14/3x190x1900mm (2.888m/Pack)
This Balmoral Earth Brushed oak flooring is an incredibly impressive flooring option, making a big, bold statement as soon as you enter the room. One of our darkest oak floors, this high quality product is suitable for any home, be it modern or traditional, it is versatile enough to enhance any decor. As the floor is very dark and earthy, bright rooms would benefit the most from this product, however, everything is personal preference when it comes to decor! This rustic oak flooring is brushed to lift the grain and all of those fantastic features associated with oak products, such as cracks, knots and splits. Then the floorboards are dark stained, so all the product gets right into any texture in the oak and really enhances the features. Due to the dark staining, the whole board is quite a deep espresso colour, but the grain and knots still create an impressive contrast in the boards. This flooring features a micro bevel edge on all four sides of these boards, so when laid together, the definition in each board is clear, so there’s no mistaking this product is made from real oak.
This multi-ply oak flooring uses tongue and groove fixings for the simplest fitting, allowing them to slot in together easily. The product comes in the dimensions of W190mm x L1900mm x D14mm and also allows you to trim the product down should you need to. All the oak used in this floor is taken from sustainable forest, so you can be sure you are making a responsible decision for the environment. The construction method used for this product means that the board is actually made up of approximately 5 different wood elements. The base layer starts off the construction and is then followed by several pieces of solid wood core which have been bonded together. Finally the top layer of 3mm rustic oak, known as the wear layer, is fixed to the rest of the board. This method creates a much stronger board, and also means that you can re-sand them in years to come if the product begins to look a little worn or marked. It is also compatible with underfloor heating.
