Barn Multi-Ply Oak Flooring - UV Oiled
This Barn grade solid flooring is a great example of a unique rustic grade flooring with larger floorboards than the standard oak flooring. Perfect for a cosy little cottage in the countryside, or even a contemporary spacious barn conversion! Produced from the highest quality oak, this multi-ply flooring is an excellent example of authentic oak characteristics adding to the effect of real oak flooring. Featuring qualities such as knots, splits and cracks, this oak gives the impression of a solid oak floor, at a fraction of the price. The bigger knots in the oak are filled, so the strength of the floorboards are not compromised. This oak flooring is UV oiled meaning that if any areas of the oak are exposed to sunlight, they will not become bleached or discoloured over time.
This flooring is made with multi-ply construction, consisting of multiple layers of oak core boards which are bonded together for strength and then sandwiched between the base layer and the top wear layer. The wear layer is much thicker than the other oak flooring types we offer, with a huge 6mm thickness, allowing you to sand down the oak if it becomes damaged or marked over time. This will give you the option to refresh your wooden flooring in the future should you ever want to change the finish of your flooring. Featuring tongue and groove fixings for easy installation, this multi-ply flooring will remain in place and solid for years to come.
