Blenheim Multi-Ply Oak Flooring - 18/4x150x400-1500mm (1.98m/Pack)
This is a slightly more simple variation of the Blenheim Traditionals, but it certainly makes up for this in quality. Produced from responsibly sourced rustic grade oak, this classic oak flooring is a sustainable option for anyone looking for new hardwood flooring. The timber used to construct this product is brushed, so that all the characteristics of the rustic wood stand out even more, defining the grain and bringing out the features such as knots and cracks. While most oak products tend to avoid these traits , our oak is handpicked for these exact qualities! Then timber is then UV oiled to ensure that any exposure to sunlight will not result in discoloration or bleaching, while providing an even finish to the flooring. This oak wood flooring style is closest to a prime grade timber, with less of those rustic characteristics like knots, but plenty of intricate grain pattern.
Multi-ply oak flooring is made up of multiple elements, as the name would suggest, but all the elements lend themselves to the strength and durability of the product. The floorboards are constructed first of all with the base plank, followed by the several layers of solid core boards which are bonded together to create one solid core and then topped with the 4mm oak wear layer. The wear layer is called this due to the fact you can sand it down when there are any marks, or the boards begin to look worn, allowing you to re-oil the boards to whatever finish you’d like. This oak flooring also features a micro bevel edge on all four sides of the boards so when they are fitted the individual boards can be seen. Tongue and groove fixings are used to assemble the flooring, making the process easy, while giving strength to the construction.
