Coventry Unfinished Oak Glazed FD30 Fire Door

The shaker style of the Coventry door, with its four flat panels in an oak veneer surround, is now available in an FD30 fire door. The four panels have been replaced with fire-rated toughened glass surrounded by oak veneer over a solid fire-retardant core. The style of the Coventry is both contemporary and traditional and would not look out of place in your modern apartment, new build, or townhouse.

The minimalistic, clean-cut lines can also suit a traditional setting, such as a farmhouse or cottage with its rustic and understated design. Letting lots of light through the four clear glazed panels and also providing the fire protection needed to keep you and your family safe in the event of a fire, this versatile Coventry Unfinished Oak Glazed Fire door is perfect for those previously dark locations. 

The Coventry Unfinished Oak Glazed FD30 door is available in 3 widths with the standard 1981mm height. The British Regulation 45mm deep edges of this internal fire door can be trimmed by 15mm on top, bottom, and on both sides, allowing for that perfect fit. Manufactured to the highest quality, the four glass fire-rated panels are fitted within the oak veneer frame. The North American crown cut oak veneer carries an FSC accreditation and has a 10 year manufacturing warranty that covers any manufacturing faults, should they arise. 

As this door is unfinished, it will require finishing when you get them, and then require refinishing at recommended intervals of 6 months in order to keep it protected from daily exposure. For what treatment to use on this internal door, we would recommend an oil from either our Treatex Hardwax or Osmo Hardwax range, which are our recommended tried and tested choice of treatments for any oak internal door.

The unfinished oak veneer is crown cut to show off the natural grain of the wood and is left unfinished for you to add the finish of your choice. The internal fire door is pre-sanded but will need to be oiled with hard wax oil prior to being hung. We also supply door linings and intumescent seals if these are required for your fire door, along with fire-rated hinges.
