Engineered Oak Cottage Stable Door
Engineered Oak Cottage Stable Door
This Cottage Oak 1 light glazed external door comes in a stable door design, so it’s an ideal back door solution, where pets or young children need to be kept secure. Supplied unfinished as standard for decorating on site, and pre-glazed with a toughened leaded double-glazed unit.
These heavyweight external Oak doors must be stored and decorated before installation in accordance with our external door policies to enhance the life of this product. A traditionally styled cottage stable door featuring a lead double glazed window - beautifully ornate and practical at the same time. Made from engineered oak using dowel construction, the oak cottage stable door is perfect for more traditional properties. This door features raised mouldings on one side. This cottage stable door is a popular choice and totally opens up the home's exterior.
We also supply an Oak Weatherbar to match the door, which will be required should the door be "open to the elements". Sold separately as not everyone will need one...ie if your door is situated within an enclosed porch. Click Here For Oak Weatherbars.
We do provide an in-house oiling/finishing option on our doors, but if you choose for your door to come unfinished, we would recommend finishing your oak door first, and then every 6 months for it to truly remain protected and fresh. We personally recommend our range of Impranol for this, or alternatively, our Osmo oils.
Our external doors must be treated before being hung, retreated every six months and kept dry at all times through the use of a canopy or similar. For full guidelines, please visit our External Door Protection Page.
