Intumescent Strip For Fire Doors 2100 x 20 x 4mm

Intumescent fire seals are designed to expand in the event of a fire to seal off the gap between the door and the door frame. For maximum effectiveness, they need to be rebated into the door or door frame. There are 3 types of seal available, all of which are FD30 rated (fire rated for 30 minutes)

Fire Only – These are a standard form of intumescent strip

Fire and Smoke – Has a nylon pile to stop smoke, as well as the standard intumescent strip

Dual Bladed -  These differ from the smoke seals by having black twin rubber blades in place of the nylon brush that not only stop smoke, but draughts as well.

All of these come in either white or brown, in a single strip measuring 2100 x 20 x 4mm, which, to seal a standard-sized fire door, you will need approximately 5 metres per door.
