The External Oak Double Door Frame is the perfect solution for fitting an external door that is either extra wide or a set of double doors. This door frame kit is suitable for most external door sizes, up to 2m wide, so you can be confident this universal frame will fit your new door. The frame will fit any door or door pair up to 2060mm high x 2000mm wide x 50mm deep, and the frame will arrive as an unassembled kit, so you get maximum flexibility when installing the frame.
The kit includes an Aquamac weather sealing strip, stop lats, and an oak sill, so you will have everything necessary to correctly fit this frame.
Constructed from high-grade oak timber, this double door frame is built to last by using lamination of 2 pieces of solid oak, ensuring the frame can withstand the harsh external environment. The oak selected for use in this product will be predominantly clear with the occasional knot, giving the door a bit of real oak characteristics.
This frame will arrive unfinished, so you have the option to select the kind of finish and look you’d like to achieve. We advise that you pre-finish your external door frame with our Impranol External Treatment Value Pack to get the longest use from your new frame. Once your external door frame is finished, all you will need to do is fit the frame to your door opening, and you will be ready to fit your new external door.
If the external door that you are fitting is 2032mm x 880mm or less, you will be better suited to selecting the Single External Solid Oak Door Frame, as it will create less waste than trimming down the frame by half.
