Prime Grade Solid Oak Latch Block

When fitting your new door and latch, it may be necessary for you to fit an accompanying latch block for the door and latch to be able to close properly and securely. Our oak latch block is made from 100% solid oak and is the perfect solution when fitting ironmongery to a door.

You may need this block if you are planning to fit door accessories, such as latches, onto outdoor (or perhaps even indoor) ledged or braced barn-style doors. This block provides a flat surface to install latches onto, enabling ease of use.

The block can be trimmed substantially to suit your specific requirements and can also be treated to match the finish of the door it is being fitted to. The size of the block supplied is 130mm x 230mm x 22mm
