4 Ledge Solid Oak Barn Door
A new version of a classic style, this barn door features four horizontal ledges rather than the usual three. It gives a more modern feel to these internal oak doors, whilst still working well in barn conversions and country cottages, as well as more contemporary homes.
This door is available in Made to Measure sizes.
Made from solid Grade-A oak from sustainable sources, the ledges are screwed and plugged onto the vertical boards. Square plugs are used, and the ledges feature a chamfered edge and run the entire width of the door.
By choosing sustainable oak as the wood, we have ensured that the doors look their very best with grain patterns and visible knots. Tongue and groove construction is used with a decorative V-Groove on the front and a microbevel on the back.
All doors are 44mm thick, which comprises the main door being 22mm, and the ledges being 22mm, and are an ideal door to couple our traditional T Hinges with. The distance between the top/bottom of the door and above/below the ledge is approximately 7".
All of our oak internal doors are supplied untreated so that you can choose between our recommended Oil or Wax Finish.
This product is available unfinished and sanded, or alternatively, you can choose for it to be pre-finished before delivery. Our in-house finishing service uses the same high-quality oils sold on our site. They offer an enhanced wood finish as well as excellent levels of protection.
For your doors to be pre-treated, simply choose your finish before adding them to the basket.
