With an FD30 fire rating, this rigorously tested modern fire door will protect in the unlikely event of a fire for up to 30 minutes. The guaranteed burn time of this internal fire door makes it particularly ideal for use as a kitchen door in both the home and office. Due to the rules of fire testing, the material must be uniform and thoroughly tested; all our fire doors have certification and are guaranteed to resist fire for a minimum of 30 minutes. 

To maximise your fire door’s fire protection properties, we strongly recommend installing them with compatible fire-rated door frames complete with an intumescent strip and door linings. Fire-rated hinges are also an option to complete your fire spreading preventative countermeasures.

This Victorian fire door is supplied unfinished, ready for final finishing at home. It will require finishing with a finish of your choosing when you get them, and then require refinishing at recommended intervals of 6 months in order to keep it protected from daily exposure. Doing this also helps validate the 10 year manufacturer's warranty that comes with this door! For what treatment to use on this internal door, we would recommend an oil from either our Treatex Hardwax or Osmo Hardwax range, which are our recommended tried and tested choice of treatments for any oak internal door.
