External 4 Panel Stable Solid Oak Door
Solid Oak Traditional External 4 Panel Stable Door
The 4 Panel Stable Solid Oak Door is a popular design, adding charm and character to country properties, cottages, and more contemporary dwellings alike. The 4-panel style incorporates 4 glazing panels that will ensure plenty of natural light can flood into your property. Only the finest timber is used when crafting this product; this can be seen in the natural characteristics of the wood. Deep, rich browns meet vibrant and striking shades of amber and golden yellows that appear to bind together around the unique and eye-catching knots, giving a distinct personality to your home’s exterior.
Available in Made to Measure sizes, fill out our contact form for more info!
Living up to our usual high quality, this external stable door is manufactured using 100% solid oak and handcrafted with traditional techniques. The solid oak 4-panel stable door is created using the strongest mortise and tenon joints for maximum strength. Made from solid oak and 44mm thick, it not only looks impressive, but you can physically feel the quality of the product as well.
The glass panels are not supplied, but the stable door top is machined to accept a double-glazing unit. Approximate size for glazing is 339.25x294mm, and we recommend you use this as a guide for quotation purposes only.
All our stable doors come as standard with a 1" rebate and, as they are identical on both the front and rear faces, you will be able to decide if you would like the door to open inwards or outwards.
Please follow these treatment and maintenance instructions to preserve the beauty and strength of the wood.
External Doors are supplied unfinished. You will need to use a treatment suitable for external doors; we recommend the Impranol range for External doors. Click here For Impranol
We also supply an Oak Weatherbar to match the door, which will be required should the door be "open to the elements". Sold separately as not everyone will need one...ie if your door is situated within an enclosed porch. Click Here For Oak Weatherbars.
Our external doors must be treated before being hung, retreated every six months and kept dry at all times through the use of a canopy or similar. For full guidelines, please visit our External Door Protection Page.
