External Cottage Stable Solid Oak Door

Solid Oak External Traditional Cottage Stable Door

This External Cottage Stable Solid Oak Door is handcrafted into a stunning design that features a smaller window when compared with other similar products. You can still expect a sufficient amount of light to cascade through, but if you’re looking for a little more privacy, then this door is perfect for you.

To make this door truly your own, we have not included a glass panel, so you can customise the glazing panel to match your home. We understand that it’s the way in which you furnish your home that allows you to add your individuality and character to it. The beauty of the solid oak and its graining will allow you to do just that. If you look closely at the wood, you will be able to trace an array of natural colours, knots, and cracks which, when combined, make each door unique and special.

Available in Made to Measure sizes, fill out our contact form for more info!

Stable doors are great for keeping pets out (or in) and for making the most of British summers by opening up our properties and breaking down the divide between your house and the garden. For those who have escaped to the country, the stable door means you can really make the most of your beautiful surroundings.

We focus all our efforts on handcrafting products to the highest quality and to the highest standards, that’s why all of our stable doors are made with traditional techniques using solid oak from sustainable forests. We do not recommend usage in exposed areas, i.e., direct rain or hot sun; therefore, we recommend use in sheltered areas with a porch or canopy.

Please follow these treatment and maintenance instructions to preserve the beauty and strength of the wood.

External Doors are supplied unfinished. You will need to use a treatment suitable for external doors; we recommend the Impranol range for External doors. Click here For Impranol

We also supply an Oak Weatherbar to match the door, which will be required should the door be "open to the elements". Sold separately as not everyone will need one...ie if your door is situated within an enclosed porch. Click Here For Oak Weatherbars.

Our external doors must be treated before being hung, retreated every six months and kept dry at all times through the use of a canopy or similar. For full guidelines, please visit our External Door Protection Page.
