Mexicano Oak Bi-Fold Door

The Mexicano Oak Bi-Fold Door shows off the vertical panel design with the practicality of the middle fold and is simply a stunning internal folding door. The popular style of vertical panels in this contemporary internal door is one to never go out of style, and this concertina door fits right in. There are two widths available to choose from, 686mm or 762mm, which are made up of two leaves joined together by heavy-duty hinges. As well as an aluminium track included, which is part of the overall 1981mm height, this is very convenient if it is replacing an existing standard door opening of that size. Don’t forget that this single bifold door has the added bonus of a 2mm trimming allowance on either side, should you need to make slight adjustments, and full instructions are also included. 

Please consider Bi-fold doors are marginally smaller than the standard 27” to 30” widths. Reason being the door hinge pivots around a pin rather than opening like a normal door. If the door was a width of 762mm wide, as it was opened, the edge would catch onto the framework. Available in unfinished American white oak veneer and also boasting a solid core, this contemporary internal door will be an addition to your home that you won’t regret.

As this door is unfinished, it will require finishing after installation, and then require refinishing at recommended intervals of 6 months in order to keep it protected from daily exposure. For what treatment to use on this internal door, we would recommend an oil from either our Treatex Hardwax or Osmo Hardwax range, which are our recommended tried and tested choice of treatments for any oak internal door.
