The handcrafted bespoke door features a middle oak panel that fully floats in the frame, and only the finest timber is used. Cheaper designs similar to this on the market are often made with a poorer quality wood or even veneer, and as a result are painted white as an attempt to cover this up.

We do provide an in-house oiling/finishing option on our doors, but if you choose for your door to come unfinished, we would recommend finishing your oak door first, and then every 6 months for it to truly remain protected and fresh. We personally recommend our range of Treatex Hardwax oils for this, or alternatively, our Osmo oils. 

This design, however, is made from 100% solid oak, and you can really see this when looking at the grain. Vibrant yellows and soulful browns exude quality as they combine to make a truly beautiful colour that surrounds the large half-unglazed panel. The doors are supplied sanded but unfinished, so you can choose the finish that best complements whatever furnishings and flooring you already have in your home. We do not actually supply the glazing, as again, we believe this should be down to your preference in matching it to the current style of the internal space.

Glazing is not supplied, so once you have your door, please take your exact measurements and speak to your local glazier so that you can finalise the look you’re trying to achieve. The beading is supplied in loose lengths and will require fitting upon glazing installation.

If you choose to have your solid oak product prefinished, when installing door fittings and/or trimming the door size, be sure to treat newly exposed surfaces with a Hardwax oil to reseal those areas.
