Bespoke Solid Oak Suffolk Half Unglazed Door

Bespoke Solid Oak Suffolk Half Unglazed Door

Our Solid oak 'Frame and Ledge' Suffolk style 1/2 unglazed door, ideal to add a contemporary, stylish, and modern look to all houses. The Suffolk style works well in a variety of property types.

Our Suffolk solid oak doors look great oiled or waxed, as the grain detail really shines through. To treat your internal solid oak doors, We personally recommend a range of Treatex Hardwax oils for this, or alternatively, Osmo oils. Please note these are 100% solid oak doors, not engineered or veneered, meaning with proper due care, they can last a lifetime. These doors feature tongue and groove construction between the vertical boards with mortice and tenon joints used to make a strong frame.

These doors are exactly the same as our regular Suffolk Doors, but without the top panel, they are supplied unfinished and unglazed, so you can choose your own colours and glazing patterns. We recommend the use of 6mm safety glass.

In the market for a flush and timeless look that protrudes from your door to the framing and lining around your home? In that case, we have an expansive line of solid oak architraves and skirting boards. We also stock a classic range of solid oak frames, and linings also definitely help fully achieve that prestige final look you are looking for.

Please follow these treatment and maintenance instructions to preserve the beauty and strength of the wood.

Glazing is not supplied, so once you have your door, please take your exact measurements and speak to your local glazier so that you can finalise the look you’re trying to achieve. The beading is supplied in loose lengths and will require fitting upon glazing installation.
