We offer a range of oak window sills which are created from the very best solid, prime grade, kiln dried American Oak, which offers a beautiful natural grain appearance. Our window sills are machined with a rounded front profile and are supplied unfinished (planed smooth but not treated), ready to be finished with an oil, lacquer, paint, or varnish of your choice. This enables you to finish the window sill so that it complements your existing window frames, skirting boards, and other interior features.

Our oak window boards are constructed using three solid planks, which have been edge-glued together, meaning that the three planks are glued with industrial-strength glue on the narrow edge to create one large board. We chose this method as it is the most sustainable and leaves no wasted wood. One single board of solid oak involves using more timber than necessary, as a single plank would need to be trimmed down to size, rendering all the trimmed wood unusable. We pride ourselves on offering the most sustainable options in the construction of our products, and this method is the best for the environment. Due to the nature of this method, the 3 boards may display different grain patterns or slight variations in the shade of the oak. Our team always endeavours to select the closest matching oak boards when constructing this product, whilst allowing the variation in grain to bring a bit of character to the wood.

Oak window sills are available in lengths up to 2.5m with varying depths up to 250mm and thicknesses of 25mm and 32mm. Our window sills can be used as a feature window seat and are a great way to add a finishing touch to an interior refit, whilst the wood grain adds some character and helps to make a property more homely and warm. These solid oak window sills are made from 100% oak with no veneers and are created from sustainable sources.
